PLO is the usual fare when it comes to the new generation’s poker game, but this MicroMillions event offered No Limit Omaha. It’s often been said that Omaha is the new Hold’em, and the numbers that turn out for Omaha tournaments show that could be true. With a few double-ups, bordinho93 became the one to beat, but GGFML stayed in line and made the right moves during heads-up play to complete the game victoriously. But with the ups and downs of Omaha H/L, anything was possible, and bordinho93 took advantage of that. When the final table of Event 59 began, GGFML had such a commanding chip lead that a comeback from another player seemed unlikely.
